화려한 도시답게 수없이 많은 반짝이는 불빛들
공항근처 거의 다 와서
“Welcome to Dubai” 라고 우리를 반겨주는
불빛이 있었는데 찰나 사진을 못찍어서 아쉬웠다.
As expected of such a glamorous city, countless sparkling lights filled the view.
As we were nearing the airport, there was a light display that welcomed us with the words, “Welcome to Dubai.”
I wanted to capture it, but it disappeared in an instant, and I missed the chance to take a photo.
읽을 수 조차 없는 꼬부랑 글씨를 보니 내가 두바이에 왔구나 실감이 났다.
I realized that I came to Dubai when I saw the words that I couldn't even read.
두바이 입국시 공항에서 무료로 나눠주는 심카드.
단, 24시간 동안만 무료.
그 후로는 당연히 요금 결제가 필요하다.
SIM card distributed free of charge at the airport when entering Dubai.
However, it is only free for 24 hours.
After that, of course, you need to pay the fee.

카림으로 대형차량을 호출 후 어디로 차가 도착할지
반신반의하며 기다리는데
다행히 공항 직원분이 친절히 안내해주셨고
기사님의 서비스도 아주 좋았다.
In Dubai, Careem is more commonly used than Uber.
After calling for a large vehicle through Careem, we weren’t sure where the car would arrive,
so we waited, feeling a bit unsure.
Fortunately, an airport staff kindly guided us,
and the driver’s service was excellent as well.
숙소로 향하는 길
우연히 두바이의 명소 세 곳을 지나치며
나도 모르게 가슴이 벅차 올랐다.
On the way to our accommodation,
we happened to pass by three of Dubai’s famous landmarks,
and I felt my heart swell with excitement before I even realized it.
30분쯤 달렸을까 10일간 묵게 될 호텔 도착
After about a 30-minute drive, we finally arrived at the hotel
that will be our home for the next ten days.

Fortunately, our hotel room was clean and nice.
Maybe it’s because my hubby told me not to expect too much.
But even if it hadn’t been, I still would’ve been grateful
grateful simply to be here.
